Welcome
We kindly invite you to take part in our international 4-days-orienteering event «Velikden Cup» from April 30th to May 3rd, 2021, in Targovishte, Bulgaria. The event takes place during the Orthodox Easter festivities and is a splendid opportunity to explore Bulgarian culture off the beaten tracks.
Program
30th of April 2021 /Friday/ – 13:00 First start – Mass start, Map: Kralevo
1st of May 2021 /Saturday/ – 11:00 – First start – Long distance, Map: Zmeyno
2nd of May 2021 /Sunday/ – 13:00 – First start – Sprint distance, Map: Targovishte
3rd of May 2021 /Monday/ – 10:30 First start – WRE Middle distance, Map: Sondite
– Competition center: Targovishte, BULGARIA
Maps and terrains
All competitions will take place on new maps. The forests in Targovishte region are mainly mixed forests with big parts of oak and beech – good runnability! For last years maps go to: www.variant5.org/maps
Classes
Women: 10, 12A, 12B, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21E, 21B, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, open short, open middle, open long.
Men: 10, 12A, 12B, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21E, 21B, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75 and open short, open middle, open long.
Entries
Deadline for entries is April 23rd, 2021. Please register starting from November 2020 online at www.variant5.org/entry. On spot you may register for open classes only.
Entry Fees
The entry fee including all fours starts will be:
45 EUR for classes M/W 12, 14, 16
55 EUR for all classes from M/W18 to W55 and M75
65 EUR for elite classes M/W 21E
Please note: We offer substantially reduced entry fees for competitors from Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine and Turkey.
Accommodation
We offer packages including all start fees, transport to the events and accommodation (standard hotel, bed in double room, breakfast included) starting from 130 EUR. Moreover guesthouses and group accommodations are available. Please contact us for further details.
